United Way of the National Capital Area (UWNCA) welcomes United Way volunteers and staff to the 2010 United Way Community Leaders Conference. For reasons that are easy to list, we love calling the nation’s capital home and encourage you to enjoy our diverse and rich city during your stay.
Like you, we are working to mobilize community resources to create lasting, positive differences in our community and improve the lives of Greater Washington residents. Our focus is caring, yet bold, and centers around two primary goals: expanding access to affordable housing and improving child wellness through a focus on healthy eating. We look forward to sharing and learning from you throughout Mobilize for Impact Week, knowing that we are better working together to advance the common good.
