What is the weather like in May?
Average May temperatures are a high of 77 degrees and low of 58 degrees.  Temperatures can drop in the evening due to the proximity of the ocean and harbor, so bring an extra layer.

What style of dress is recommended?
Business casual attire is encouraged for all sessions.  Business attire is recommended for the awards dinner on Thursday, May 15.

Which hotel is closest to the Convention Center?
Days Inn Inner Harbor, Sheraton Inner Harbor and Hyatt Regency Baltimore are adjacent to the Convention Center.  Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor Hotel at Camden Yards and Radisson Plaza Lord Baltimore Hotel are within walking distance (2-3 blocks).  Transportation will be provided from the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront (11 blocks) and The Tremont Plaza Hotel (6 blocks).

Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?
No, but there are several travel options.  Cabs ($30/one way), airport shuttle ($16/$18 one way — print off a coupon under the transportation tab).

Will transportation be provided to the Convention Center?
Shuttles will run from the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront and The Tremont Plaza Hotel only.  Shuttles are scheduled to run in the morning to arrive before the conference starts and return you to the hotels at the end of the day.  Shuttles will not run continuously throughout the day.

Which meals will I be responsible for?
All meals and breaks are listed on the program-at-a-glance.  The host city event will be the evening of Wednesday, May 14.  Continental breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner on Thursday, May 15 and full breakfast on Friday, May 16.

You will be responsible for dinner on your own on May 14 (following the reception).

How do I know how many flexible credits my United Way has?
Go to http://online.unitedway.org/flexcredits to access your United Way’s flex credit report. 

How do I use flexible credits to pay for the CLC and what do flexible credits cover?
When you get to the payment screen while registering, choose “Flex Credits” from the payment options.  You will need to enter your organization number in the box provided. 

Flexible credits can be used for the following, if associated with an approved United Way of America program or sponsored event. 

• Registration/tuition fees
• Some travel costs such as airfare, rental car, or mileage
• Daily per diem for hotel and meals
